Yonder
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use Yonder on iOS, iPadOS or Android. By using Yonder, you agree to them and to the Yonder Privacy Policy.
The app
Yonder is a free web browser by Sarthak Jain under Offbeat Applications. It includes optional features, Browse for Me and Summarize, that write answers from web pages.
Websites and third-party content
Yonder shows content from websites and services we don't own or control. We aren't responsible for what they contain, how accurate they are, or how they treat your data. Each website's own terms apply when you use it.
AI-written answers
Browse for Me and Summarize answers are produced automatically, by an AI provider you connect (Claude, OpenAI or Google Gemini), an on-device model or Quick Extract, from pages that may themselves be unreliable. Answers may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check the linked sources for anything important. Answers are not medical, legal, financial or safety advice.
Your API keys
If you add an API key for Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI or Google Gemini, you're responsible for it, for any charges the provider bills to your account, and for following that provider's terms and usage policies. Yonder sends each key only to its own provider.
Acceptable use
Don't use Yonder to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attack, overload or scrape services in breach of their terms.
Content blocking
Yonder blocks known ad and tracking domains and hides cookie banners by default. Some sites may not work correctly with blocking on. You can turn it off for any site.
Intellectual property
The Yonder name, icon and software belong to Offbeat Applications. You may use the app as these terms and the app store terms allow, and you gain no other rights to them.
No warranty and limitation of liability
Yonder is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Yonder or of any website or service you reach through it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
App store terms
If you got Yonder from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Yonder and isn't responsible for claims relating to it. If you got Yonder from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. If you keep using Yonder after a change, you accept the updated terms.
